Training in the time of Covid-19
The current events, connected to COVID-19, the complicated epidemiological situation, bans on trainings and locking down of academic institutions have posed an enormous challenge to healthcare systems around the world.
Medical education, which has to be very detailed and extensive so that young doctors can gain experience, is seriously threatened with uncertainty. Those forms of education have been cancelled so many times recently. The virtual medical simulation could be a unique solution and, in addition, it protects the health of young doctors, students, as well as their trainers/tutors, because their training could be partly transferred outside the operating room.
In a disinfected and COVID-free environment, in separate training halls, the future of our society, trainee surgeons could continue with their training until they reach fruition, despite all the complications and detriments. Our company, "SMF" EOOD/LTD , together with our partners, will strive to achieve the main goal: very good surgeons, professionally trained on the best virtual simulators, available on the world market, so that we could contribute to the achievement of overall improved common health and better healthcare, respectively.
