Our mission
"SMF" EOOD/LTD has been set up in order to be the most competent business partner and supplier to all Medical Universities, as well as all their connected hospitals and other competent centres across the Balkan Peninsula in the field of medical training, mainly based on virtual medical simulation.
We are a young and very successful team in this area. For the last 10 years our company has achieved a significant success on our main market, i.e. Bulgaria, by starting to sell standard training equipment to Medical Universities in the Republic of Bulgaria – from a basic model to the first medical simulator sold in 2014. Since 2017 our affiliate company, ''J.S.EVRO - BULGARIA'' EOOD/LTD in Sofia City has started to equip top-notch Universities with virtual medical simulators.
Selection of our partners was carried out in accordance with very strict and detailed criteria; as we wanted to become the best company in this area on the Bulgarian market, we decided to work only with the best producer in this field, while knowing that what we sell is not just good, but the very best. The best of quality, the range of training modules, as well as the long-term servicing of products sold and the reaction time in case of need for remote technical support from abroad.
Our main partner is the Swiss company called VIRTAMED from Zurich. Since 2017 we have been an exclusive partner of this super innovative company, which apart from being the manufacturer of some of the best medical simulators on the world market, they also excel in fields where currently their competitors are still far behind and cannot keep up. Namely: their unique flexibility when solving any technical issues, their aspiration to be always the first or at least the best in a certain sector. Their repair, technical post-sale and Golden Service are unmatched; the latter includes even free repair or replacement in case of total damage – their enquiry response time and of course, also very importantly, flexible and fast delivery deadlines make the business partners from the Swiss company almost unbeatable. Moreover, VIRTAMED treats not only its Business Partners so well, but also its own employees. In the past VIRTAMED received numerous awards in the field of ''human resources'' and are considered to be one of the best employers in the Canton of Zurich, which assures us that the company owners also have great social competence and a vision for the future.
Now, in our 5th year of partnership we have been given a very responsible task of developing the whole market of virtual medical simulation across the Balkan Peninsula. It is a huge task, but together with our team, which is bound to grow further, and the competent partners on-site who will serve Universities and Hospitals in their respective countries, this goal will be achieved.

In parts of these countries we still do not have available infrastructure which will support us in building Simulation Centres, from prelim consultations to final delivery of the certain product and its initial installation. Medical simulators allow trainees to gain or improve their skills before entering the operating room. Various pathologies are examined and trained on with zero risk for the patient. The advantage of virtual medical training is that skills are tested on a simulator, which eliminates to a great degree the stress associated with students' transition to the real medical profession. Apart from that, there is feedback available on trainee's work, which allows for reviewing and discussion of mistakes.
Thus every medical faculty/department, every wealthy hospital has the opportunity to train more experienced young doctors/surgeons in a secure environment. In a safe and secure environment the training process will be highly accelerated, in comparison with the standard assistant training, whereas there is no risk of patients being injured. There are medical surveys published in ''British Medical Journal'' which prove that 90 hours of intensive training on a virtual simulator is equal to 200 operations performed as an assistant. This exact finding persuaded us in the fact that our idea, which is already our mission, is the right way for the future.
