Eight specialties, two worlds. Open and minimally invasive surgery is guided by the hand; endovascular work is guided by the image on screen. The platforms follow that distinction.

With VirtaMed you hold the real instrument and feel resistance — the hand is trained. With Mentice you guide a catheter under fluoroscopy — reading the image and manipulating the device is what is trained. The two require different things and are measured differently.

Gynaecology & obstetrics GYNOS™Hysteroscopy, obstetric ultrasound at 20+2 weeks, embryo transfer per ASRM, IUD insertion and follicle puncture.
Urology UROS™TURP, TURBT and laser enucleation with thulium or holmium on prostates from 55 to 90 grams. The most extensively researched specialty in the portfolio.
Laparoscopy LAPAROS™Cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hemicolectomy and intracorporeal suturing — with the adverse event as a dedicated training level.
Robotic surgery ROBOS®Console ergonomics, 58 exercises and cholecystectomy across three scenarios — plus team training with the bedside assistant, which the surgical console alone does not support.
Common to all CONNECTThe analytics layer across the entire fleet — learning curves, cohort comparisons and LMS integration.
